The figures here are not a market-share estimate: they are the IPv4 address space that autonomous systems registered in Türkiye announce in the global BGP table, computed from our own datasets built on 7 November 2026. The live table is always on Türkiye in numbers.
The networks announcing the most IPv4 space
| Network | ASN | IPv4 addresses announced |
|---|---|---|
| Türk Telekom | AS9121 | ~13.9 million |
| Turkcell Superonline | AS34984 | ~2.1 million |
| Turkcell (mobile) | AS16135 | ~1.7 million |
| Türk Telekom Mobile | AS20978 | ~1.6 million |
| Vodafone (mobile) | AS15897 | ~1.3 million |
| Vodafone Net | AS15924 | ~0.7 million |
| D-Smart | AS12978 | ~0.6 million |
| Vodafone Net | AS8386 | ~0.5 million |
| Türksat | AS47524 | ~0.5 million |
| ULAKNET (TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM) | AS8517 | ~0.3 million |
| TurkNet | AS12735 | ~0.15 million |
Türk Telekom alone announces more than half of all the IPv4 space announced by Turkish-registered networks (about 25.8 million addresses), a reflection of how the country’s broadband infrastructure grew.
One operator, several AS numbers
The large operators often run fixed, mobile and business services under separate AS numbers: Türk Telekom’s fixed network is AS9121, its mobile network AS20978 (TT Mobil) and its IPv6-heavy AS47331 (TTNET); Vodafone’s mobile network is AS15897 and its fixed networks AS15924 and AS8386; the Turkcell group’s mobile network is AS16135 and its fixed network Superonline’s AS34984. That is why one operator appears more than once.
IPv6
The number of networks announcing IPv6 is still limited: of the 889 Turkish-registered ASNs that announce routes, 173 also announce IPv6 prefixes. All the large operators announce IPv6, which does not mean every subscriber gets it. Check your own connection with the IPv6 test.
RPKI
Turkish networks have adopted RPKI widely: about 98.4 % of the routes announced by Turkish-registered networks are RPKI-valid, and only a handful are invalid — an important protection against route hijacks; see What is BGP?.
Sources and limits
AS ownership comes from the RIPE NCC’s delegation file, announcements from the global BGP table as collected by APNIC, and RPKI status from the validated ROAs of the five RIRs. Announced address space is not the number of subscribers: a mobile operator using CGNAT can serve many customers with few addresses.
